Guardians of the Light

Synopsis

In the year 2045, according to the Light Calendar, our planet has undergone significant changes. The coastlines have largely been swallowed by the sea, dramatically altering the landscapes we once knew. Amidst this shifting world, a young man named Yukari Fujikura embarks on a mission to find his lost grandfather, a quest that exposes him to unexpected dangers.

During his search, Yukari faces a dire encounter with a sea monster known as "Suika". When his life hangs in the balance, an unexpected savior appears: the "Guardian of the Light", a mystical entity dwelling within a lighthouse.

Spurred by this encounter, Yukari decides to join the "Pilgrimage Agency," a group dedicated to combating the Suika menace. He sets off on a journey around the lighthouses, teaming up with his superiors, Sen Nakazawa and Akiko Douke.

Their shared mission is more than a personal quest - it is a quest for the very future of the world - where the ultimate goal is to save the future of the world itself…
