Synopsis

Sal Cooper, celebrated as the most dedicated and effective "shadow" of the Cooper family, found himself betrayed by Alan, the newly appointed family head, during significant distribution meetings. Despite Sal's unwavering loyalty and his role in securing victories for the family, he was reduced to a mere pawn and subjected to scorn by those he once commanded.

Embarking on a path of vengeance, Sal's efforts to confront his humiliators and Alan uncovered a shocking truth: he had been selected in childhood to serve as the family's "shadow," magically bound to absorb harm intended for Alan, thereby unwittingly enhancing Alan's capabilities.

The revelation that his entire existence was manipulated from the start came directly from Alan. In a twist of fate, Sal managed to invert the spell's effects. Through his ultimate sacrifice, he reclaimed the talents and abilities Alan had siphoned from him. Although Alan survived, he was left weakened, unable to assert dominance over other families, precipitating the Cooper family's downfall.

In an unexpected turn of events, Sal Cooper was reborn at the age of three, before the enchantment of "nourishment" was cast upon him. This rebirth offered him a chance to live anew, free from the burdens and manipulations of his former life as a shadow.
